Il punto del poker live e online all'interno di Sigma Gaming Malta 2017, un evento che parte domani, 21 novembre e finisce venerdì toccando tutti i settori, dal betting agli eSports, dal Bingo al Lotto e dai Fantasy Sports alle nuove frontiere del gaming e del gambling. Il focus su poker vede fare da vate della discussione Alexandre Dreyfus, ceo della Global Poker League.
Si parte dalle 12 con l'introduzione di Michael Gentile di Poker Industry PRO: The State of Online Poker in 2017, il titolo dell'intervento. Nonostante le condizioni del mercato il poker online ha mostrato una notevole resilienza nell'anno che si sta per concludere e da qui al 2018 si prevede una ripresa e una resurrezione.
Poi si parla delle evoluzioni delle regole nei mercati iGaming con alcuni legali esperti di settore e lo stesso Gentile a moderare.
Dalle 15 si parla di tornei live e della loro resurrezione in rapporto con gli operatori di poker online che rimangono i principali investitori in questo settore. Intervengono Dirk Oetzmann di Highlight Media Group, William Shillibier, giornalista e reporter live francese e soprattutto Cédric Billot, business develpment manager di The Stars Group.
Si passa alle novità sull'online poker affiliate marketing per passare, alle 16:30, ad uno spazio dedicato ai players.
Il finale vede lo stesso Dreyfus parlare del futuro del poker online insieme a Nick Jones, direttore di Poker Industry con Jean Cristophe Antoine, Head of Poker di Betsson Group.
