'Sembra un main event!' Il Big50 Wsop vola al Day4 con 126 players e nessun azzurro!

Super Big50 arriva al Day4 con 126 players a caccia della prima moneta di quasi 1,2 milioni di dollari: nessun azzurro ci sarà.

Sono 127 i giocatori che concorreranno al Day4 del Big50 No Limit Hold'em per uno dei braccialetti più storici delle World Series Of Poker! “Sembra un main event”, ha detto Allen Cunningham, uno dei top player Usa protagonista anche in questo evento, ed è proprio così. Con 127 left al Day4  si dovrebbe giocare fino a 6 left e sarà una giornata tremenda con il rischio di dover aumentare un giorno o di concludere il Day5 con più players in gioco. Del resto le previsioni erano ottime ma oltre 28mila entries sono davvero tantissimi e la struttura, seppur studiata alla perfezione, potrebbe avere qualche distorsione assolutamente inevitabile e giustificabile.

 

Sono usciti 10 italiani, anzi 11 visto che c’eravamo persi Cristiano Ruiu, giornalista e ora marketing manager al Casinò di Lugano, e questi sono i premi che hanno ottenuto.

Claudio Poggi, blogger e membro del team eSports Qlash, si piazza 187esimo per 7.169 dollari, Mauro Spurio centra la 324esima posizione per 5.144 bigliettoni, Lorenc Puka esce 360esimo sullo stesso gradino della prize pool, poi 525esimo Daniele Vesco, 540esimo Simone Mazzarolo, 648esimo per 3.273 dollari Bruno Drago, Virgilio Di Cicco 998esimo, peccato per Fabrizio D’Agostino in posizione 1.033 per poco meno di 2mila dollari. Stesso premio per Cosimo Bisogno 1.050esimo e Francesco Centonza out in 1.125esima posizione. In 936esima posizione Cristiano Ruiu per 2.202 dollari!

Amer Torbay, dal Venezuela è il chip leader alla fine della serata, finendo con un enorme stack da 32.500,00, 65 big blinds visto che si riprenderà al livello 250.000 / 500.000 con 500.000 BBA.

Il secondo posto in classifica è di David Rasmussen (1,339,000), con il vincitore del braccialetto 2018 Diogo Veiga che completa i primi tre stack con 1.196.000 chips e cerca il secondo braccialetto d'oro della sua carriera.

Alcuni dei notables che sono ancora in corsa per l'ambito braccialetto d'oro Wsop e il primo premio di $ 1.147,449i includono Jason Wheeler (20.750.000), il finalista Wsop Andrei Konopelko (30.200.000) e Daniel Gamer (17.500.000).
In 14esima piazza c’è addirittura un certo Allen Cunningham, vincitore di cinque braccialetti Wsop, ha iniziato la giornata con 500.000 gettoni ed è riuscito a salire e rimanere tra i più grandi stack per tutto il giorno. In una delle ultime mani del Day 3 ha fatto check-raise al flop e “sbarellato” anche al turn, ottenendo un fold dal suo avversario per superare i 20 milioni in chips. "Non mi aspettavo davvero nulla da questo torneo, ovviamente con 28.000 persone è difficilissimo, ma ho giocato bene e soprattutto giorno per giorno e mano per mano e sono arrivato fin qui - ha spiegato ai blogger Pokernews - sembra il Main Event! Si inizia con così tante chips e si gioca così a lungo, mi sento come se fossi in qualcosa di grande! Alzo gli occhi e vedo $ 7.000 come premio e mi aspettavo $ 700.000”. Esatto! Infatti i giocatori al Day4 si sono garantiti $ 7,169 e si rinizia alle 20 ora italiana di oggi, 6 giugno.
Tony Miles, che è arrivato secondo a John Cynn nel Main Event delle World Series of Poker dello scorso anno, vincendo $ 5,000,000 nel processo, è stato eliminato presto oggi e ritirato il uo primo cash alle Wsop del 2019. Un'altra eliminazione anticipata è stata il giocatore dell'anno Wsop del 2018, Chris Ferguson.
Oltre a Cunningham ci sono altri volti noti come Justin Liberto ($ 6.054), Robert Brown ($ 7.169), Larry Wright ($ 6.054), Yaser Al-Keliddar ($ 6.054), Scott Davies ($ 4,397), Daniel Zack ($ 3,782), Ari Engel ($ 3,782), Upeshka De Silva ($ 3,782), Todd Witteles ($ 3,273) e Jeff Madsen ($ 1,744).
